Shopping day with the sidecar and a short hello to Melli

Skippy's challenge is still on and so another video from Raw On The Road ... finally we made it to the Farmers market (every Friday) in Atenas...

We are heartbroken - goodbye Melli :(

It was not possible for us to foster Melli longer without risking even more the health of Lyra and Ulpu. On our last walk Ulpu got badly injured when Melli run over her. We had to take Ulpu to a vet and she was diagnosed with a minor head trauma. Just before that Lyra was diagnosed with Ehrlichia and was now under heavy medication. Our little girls got quite stressed with Melli's childish (and rough) play. No room for a overly playful 10kg puppy :-o

Enjoy with us our last walk with Melli from our house and some more of our dog life. What a difference compared to when she came to us!

... you see here. Lyra does not like Melli at all and typically shows her instantly her teeth because Melli's playing style is too rough for little Lyra. Our foster time will have to come to an early end.

Our idea was to do a good deed while we were stationary in Atenas. Lucky for us there were two dog shelters and one of them had a newcomer. Her name was Caramela, a 4 month old puppy which was thrown out of a car, found by a taxi driver and delivered to the animal shelter on a Sunday night. She had nine skin worms in her and did not have required puppy vaccinations yet. To give her a temporary home away from other the shelter was of high priority and so she came to us.

Skippy got a rice cooker - she was all happy and started experimenting right away. It's easy to get her into a better mood.

The challenge is to make one video per day during the entire July and since Wolfi does not see any point in making things all over again so Wolfi will publish Skippy's videos here. In those clips there is more food stuff, less about Wolfi, less about us, more Finnish and no German subtitles... and of course Skippy is in the center of her universe ;)

In the past we talked about the fact that our girls are not doing fine in the sidecar anymore. Thus we need to make some changes. We have been thinking a lot about what to do and Skippy has many ideas on how she could continue with girls. Decision making is difficult.
