Cornwall (UK) - Saarland (Germany)

We left the St. Buryan's camping place to see the other "Land's End". After we saw, that we should pay for parking, we were so turned off... another tourist thing. We said to ourselves "Enough of this", turned around and hit the road.

We were looking for some accommodation around Exeter and after a 2h search we gave up and went to Crealy Meadows campsite for one night before we hit Southampton. Camping for one night is not our favourite. Well it was a deluxe campsite, which might be beautiful in 10-15 years once the trees have grown to a meaningful size ;)

Another healthy and delicious lunch
We saw Stonehenge - "been there done that" ;)

The next two nights we spend in Southampton and we reserved a full day to visit the Beaulieu Motor Museum. Plenty of 007 and Top Gear stuff - it was great :)

Fascinating mechanical design

Jeremy Clarkson rode the Vespa 1000miles across Vietnam in eight days
We rode from Southampton to Altenkessel within a few days, riding mostly highways and increasing our country count by one as we rode through Luxembourg :D

Our fruit lover waiting for a piece of apple :D
We were totally exhausted and felt that we really need a "vacation". Road life can be tough. We knew that we will stay for almost two weeks at Rudi who lives nearby Wolfi's old home. So it felt like going home and it was really something to look forward to.

  1. Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was super
long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers? I'd certainly appreciate
    it.

    1. First of all thank you very much for your comment. We're always happy to hear from our readers and anyway happy to see that there are some! :D

Wolfi's comment to your question: "Dark on light! Which means that light colour background looks the best and easiest to read black/dark text from it. Other way around just looks horrible! Also keep the sentences and paragraphs short. Makes the text more easier to follow/understand."

I would like to say that the most important thing is to be yourself! Write like you would talk to a friend. Unless of course if you're having a blog about some professional things or you're trying to sell something... But when you're having a blog about yourself, your hobbies, your life etc. you should be sincere. Don't try to impress other people or write what you think others want to read. It just wont work like that and anyway you would basically sell yourself!
We've been accused of having too much writings about food or dogs, or that we are complaining too much about other cultures... Well people don't seem to understand that this blog is about our life, not just about biking! Dogs and healthy living are a huge and important part of our life and that's what we are also going to write about. This is also a travelogue and it means that we tell about things the way we experience and see them! So we give our true opinions and they might be useful to some people and irritating to others, but we won't change our way because of any negative feedback! It's best to be yourself and honest to your readers. One can never please everyone anyway!
